Manufacturing Factory Hand - Permanent - Albury NSW

Trayne Consulting are currently recruiting for a factory hand person to join our iconic leader in the design and manufacturing of Wardrobes and Showerscreens. With an established reputation for commitment to innovative design, unsurpassed craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

 

Reporting to the Factory Manager the successful candidate will join the team as a permanent employee working predominantly Monday to Friday 6.30am – 3:30pm.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

  • Carry out assembly of quality products in accordance with company standards

  • Aluminium cutting

  • Picking and stacking stock

  • Basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instrument capabilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices to ensure that all work environments are up to safety standards

 

Please note that Heavy Lifting  will be required in this role.

 

To be successful you will have:

 

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing factory hand role 

  • Ability to work safely with machinery, tools, manufacturing and manual handling processes.

  • An eye for detail and an ability to read technical drawings

  • Confidence in measurement and accurate cutting skills 

  • Working in a team to assist with daily production requirements

  • A positive, switched on individual who is personable and is all about getting the job done in a timely manner

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Safe Work practices

  • Physically capable of manual handling & heavy lifting

  • A flexible individual who can embrace work changes and who can multi task whilst maintain a great attention to detail

 

The successful candidate will need to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test and have a clean valid police check completed within the last 6 months.
