Retail Account Manager National AU/NZ - Gold Coast, QLD
Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting experienced Retail Account Manager – National AU/NZ to join our Global Client who is an industry leader in their field.
With a local presence in Southport - Gold Coast, this role will see you be responsible for creating strong client awareness across our Clients product range & brands. With a focus on growing existing commercial partnerships, this role will also be accountable for new business development across both Australia & New Zealand.
The key responsibilities for this role are outlined below but not limited to:
Implement a national (AU/NZ) strategic sales plan for retail partners, targeting key decision makers with a focus both on financial gain and client satisfaction
Prospect for new clients and implement a pipeline, by utilising existing database, through networking, cold calling or other means of generating interest from potential clients
Build long-term national (AU/NZ) partnerships with new and existing clients, by undertaking deep dive analysis to uncover all areas of opportunity and maximise revenue for all parties
Develop and execute a call cycle programme of sales meetings with both existing and new prospects
Exceed budget and new busines KPI’s utilising the above strategies
Provide face to face technical and product sales training to ensure that retail partners can maximise sales
Undertake research to identify new markets and client needs and execute promotional programmes
Develop a rolling 15-month marketing activity calendar for all accounts
Undertake various reports as directed by the National Sales Manager - AU & NZ
To be considered for this role you must have the following key experience and attributes:
Demonstrated experience in an Account Manager, Business Development or Sales role within a FMCG or consumer environment
Degree qualified in Business, Marketing or Sales will be highly regarded
Previous experience researching, identifying and prospecting new business leads
Proven ability to deep dive and grow existing national partnerships as well as look for out of the box industry opportunities
Commercially astute and experienced with managing budgets, inventory, forecasting and pricing
Outstanding relationship building, communication and influencing skills with a strong client centric focus
The ability to identify opportunities and drive execution excellence
Proven ability to exceed targets and close leads
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM experience
Strong organisational skills with excellent follow up and reporting skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a Sales Team
Have full flexibility to travel 7-10 days at a time (approx. every 6 weeks, across both Australia and New Zealand).
Hold a clean valid Australian Driver’s License as you will be required to drive when visiting clients.
