Joiner / Carpenter - Permanent Opportunity -Melbourne, VIC
Trayne Consulting are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our Client’s busy team based in Rowville who specialise in premium timber doors.
Our Client’s origins go back over 50 years, where they have become known for their high-quality joinery craftsmanship manufacturing premium doors. With a highly experienced team, our Client focuses on continual improvement in equipment, methods, and products, coupled with excellent customer service, quality, and safety.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business and grow your career where you will work across a variety of machines, producing custom made doors from start to finish, working across the full product manufacture line.
To be considered for this position you must have:
Joinery experience/ trade qualified with timber experience a MUST or demonstrated similar trade background, such as shop fitters or those experienced in smaller scale commercial works or carpentry trade
CNC/Router experience highly regarded
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
Have an analytical approach to work with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong numerical ability & manual dexterity
Ability to work to schedules & meet tight deadlines
Be able to follow directions in a safe and timely manner
Have a broad understanding of WHS requirements and procedures
Excellent time management and communication skills
A willingness & enthusiasm to learn
A proactive, 'can do' attitude towards all tasks and adaptable to the working environment
Pride yourself with the quality of workmanship to ensure we get it right the first time
Ability to work autonomously or within a team and follow direction
Must be willing to learn and adapt to company systems and procedures, whilst also being able to bring great ideas and suggestions to the team
Forklift Ticket highly regarded

Please note this role will entail heavy lifting as part of 2 & 4 person lifts as well as using a variety of lifting aids so you must be comfortable to undertake physical works.
