About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, we are looking for an experienced Claims Administrator who will be responsible for the processing of all damage claims and mitigating any losses incurred.
This role is a permanent full-time role, where you will work Monday – Friday in our Southport Office.
The successful candidate will have a pro-active, can do attitude where no task is too big or too small and has the ability to work in a fast-paced team.

The key responsibilities for this role are listed below, but not limited to:
Collate and prepare documentation and supporting evidence for each claim
Manage the process of the claim from beginning to end
Ensure accurate reporting of vehicle damage
Analyse damage claims to determine cause and fault
Assess the amount owed by customers and liaise with customers to arrange payment to cover damage
Process letters of demand and follow up as required
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all information has been correctly collected, request further/missing information as well as liaise with the Debt Collection team
Liaise with 3rd party insurers
Update the system to reflect each stage of the process until claim is closed
Provide regular reports to Management as required
Ensure all legal requirements are followed for claims recovery/liability
Any other duties, as directed by immediate supervisor
Adhere to all compliance, WH&S and all policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
To be considered for this role you must have:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role highly regarded
Knowledge of insurance claims procedures preferred but not essential
Prior experience in the rental car industry highly regarded
Strong administration skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment whilst remaining calm
Attention to detail is a MUST ensuring the correct documents are prepared as well as a good eye for figures and calculations
Exceptional organisational, interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to take ownership of work
Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Package - Word, Excel, Internet, & Email, with the ability to pick-up in-house systems quickly
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively – both written and verbally
Ability to negotiate and to handle difficult customers
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures relating to insurance contracts, road rules and privacy information
The successful candidate must have full work rights in Australia and provide a clean valid police check completed within the last 6 months as well as a clean current Australian Driver’s License – manual highly regarded, as from time to time you will be required to assist in the movement of fleet from Depot to Depot.
