Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting an experienced Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Global Client who is an industry leader in their field.
With a local presence in Southport - Gold Coast, we are looking for someone who loves to use all their creative and strategic skills to drive a business to success, where you will be given the opportunity to work autonomously with the support of global resources.

Secondly, our clients focus since COVID-19 like many businesses around the globe, has seen an exciting shift to drive business through online platforms ensuring that their products are at the forefront of all Consumers minds – you get to use all your creativity, innovation and passion.
Thirdly, post COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, you get to travel interstate every 4-8 weeks to meet with our Clients partners. Working alongside with the National Sales Manager to present, strategise and collaborate ensuring win-win outcomes.
And last but not least, this role will be responsible for assisting in building and executing an Ecommerce & Digital marketing strategy across both Australia and New Zealand in line with the overall market and key account business plans.
The key responsibilities for this role are outlined below but not limited to:
Develop and implement SEO, Google Adwords, PPC, Content Management and Social Media strategies
Grow and develop both ‘brick and mortar’ and online presence for Retail Partners ensuring brand message is consistent
Develop, present and collaborate Digital Marketing presentations to Retail Partners to maximise growth across all product lines
Build and execute holistic digital strategies in-line with Retail Partners to maximise ROI including online promotions across e-commerce platforms
Understand the requirements of the e-commerce Retail Partner’s as well as their systems needs including planning, forecasting ROI and execution
Co-ordinate the implementation of content enhancement across Retail Partner’s platforms
Provide insights, direction and recommendations for new and current products including pricing strategies, market research as well as promotions unique to the e-commerce channel
Maintain digital dashboards across several different accounts whilst monitoring key online marketing metrics to ensure tracking to success
Collaborate with all internal teams both locally and internationally to exceed corporate goals
Have a team and flexible approach to jump in and assist as required – no job being too big or too small – of course with a smile on your face!!
To be considered for this role you must have the following key experience and attributes:
Demonstrated experience in an Ecommerce & Digital Marketing role is a MUST with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing highly regarded
Exposure to the FMCG industry highly advantageous along with experience in the e-commerce retail environment
Solid background across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Amazon
Experience executing successful paid social media campaigns
Sound understanding of SEO strategies and tactics
Experience in the use of content management systems
Strong understanding of market dynamics with the ability to leverage
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines
Be self-motivated whilst being a team player, with the ability to work both autonomously as well as being part of the local and global team
